Just spent a wonderful week at Les Marronniers. Our gite (3) was beautiful and very well appointed, plus it was a bonus that Chris and Susie provided all the baby items such as cot, high chair etc. There is an "Aladin's Cave" of books, games, toys for all ages and pool toys so no need to take any of those either. The pool is lovely and the gate is kept padlocked when no-one is using it. We were very fortunate with the weather so could take advantage of all the outside activities that Les Marronnieres offers but the large games room is a wonderful addition for less than lovely weather. The surrounding area is very beautiful with its rivers, ruined castles and no traffic……! We preferred it to the Dordogne! As has been said in all the other reviews Chris and Susie make you so welcome and nothing is a problem for them - they most certainly do everything they can to make your holiday relaxing and problem free. We will certainly be back!

I had a wonderful painting holiday here. Chris and Susie are fantastic hosts. Chris took us to some really lovely places and shared his love of cheese with us, while Susie provided us with just as lovely food. They are both really welcoming and the area of France is lovely with gentle countryside and few people. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Thank you Chris and Suzie for another great week sharing Les Marronniers. It was a pity we chose the worst week for weather but it couldn't dampen our enthusiasm for the region and the stunning scenery that looks good even in the pouring rain. We definitely want to come back again.

We had a wonderful family holiday at Les Marronniers.Chris and Susie made us feel very welcome .....our Gite was perfect for our family of five.Fabulous pool and games room which entertained the whole family ...nearby you can explore the magnificent medieval villages and swimming and canoeing in the beautiful rivers.... A very rural peaceful area but car is essential if you want to explore this beautiful area.

We have just returned from a wonderfull 2 weeks in gite 3 at Les Marronniers. Chris & Susie were instantly the perfect gite hosts and made our stay really special. The gite itself was spotless & extremely comfortable. We have 3 young children & Chris and Susie were so helpful supplying all those bulky extra items you don't want to travel with. The pool was a big hit with all of us & gardens gave ample opportunity for running around. We made good use of our private outdoor area especially as each gite has its own BBQ which was lovely. I shall very much miss my morning croissant delivaries! The local area was beautiful & there are plenty of things to do for all ages. A big thank you to Chris & Susie for sharing your beautiful home with use. A fab holiday!

What a welcome on the beautiful property of Chris and Susy! The gite was beautiful, clean and very comfortable; every detail has been thought of, you will want for nothing. The pool is beautiful with more than enough sunbeds and parasols, all is clean and well maintained (as the complete garden and property is). There's a trampoline in the garden, a swing and slide for the little ones. In case of rain there's a gameroom with several games (table footbal, table tennis, etc) and more Dvd's than you can watch in a year. Fresh bread delivered every morning. Chris and Susy will help you with anything you need or want to know. The area is not the most spectacular one in France, but there are enough possibilities for trips. However, when you stay on this property, the need for going out is not that big!
